A rechargeable vape is an electronic cigarette that can be used multiple times by recharging its battery. Devices such as the Vuse Pro have a built-in battery that can be recharged using the charging cable provided inside the box.

This varies and depends on several factors, including battery size, usage frequency, and the age of the device. The battery inside each Vuse Pro device should last for around 300 complete charge/discharge cycles before its efficiency begins to deteriorate. This is normal, and common in electronic devices that contain lithium-ion batteries.

A rechargeable vape works by using a battery, which is activated by either a button or inhalation, to power a heating coil. The coil then heats up and vaporises e-liquid which is absorbed by the wicking material in the atomiser. This produces a vapour, which is then inhaled by the user.

While you can take rechargeable vapes on a plane, they must be kept in your hand luggage or carry-on. They are not allowed in checked baggage due to regulations and passenger safety measures.

Rechargeable devices are classified as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), which means they should not be disposed of in your household waste bin. Instead, you should take them to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) for recycling. Alternatively, you can take them to any authorised retailer that accepts old electrical items for recycling.
