Know your Vuse epen

TIPS: 

→ Each pod is designed for single use. You should not attempt to refill as this may lead to leakage and damage your device.

→ All Vuse eLiquids have been developed bespoke to Vuse devices for an optimal vaping experience.

Quick Start

Insert the pod into the device.

Click 3 times to turn on the device.

Press down the button whilst inhaling the vapour.

Click 3 times to turn off the device.

TIPS:

→ For optimal performance, your ePen should be fully charged before first use.

→ For optimum enjoyment and satisfaction, it is recommended to close your lips over the pod so the tip is inside your mouth, not resting directly on your lips.

→ When the ePen is activated, the LED will show the remaining level of charge.

→ Only use Vuse ePen pods with the Vuse ePen device.

When to change your pod

Little or no vapour production. Deterioration of the taste or quality of the vapour.

If your ePen stops producing vapour and the pod is not yet empty, check that your device is fully charged.

How to charge your Vuse ePen

Connect the USB charging cable to the device. Connect the other end to a USB charging port/station.

It should take no longer than 1 hour to fully charge your ePen when using the correct charging input.

If the ePen remains unused for 10 minutes, it will automatically switch off.

The LED indicator will show the different charge levels while charging. Never leave the ePen unattended while charging.

TIPS:

→ When the LED shows continuous green, the ePen is charged and the USB charging cable should be disconnected.

→ The ePen will automatically stop charging after a period of 3 hours.

→ If your ePen starts to flash red rapidly while charging, please disconnect and contact the Vuse customer care line.

Charge level indicators

After the device is turned on, press the button once to see the charge level.

Your ePen device may run out of charge before the pod is finished, so don’t automatically discard the pod when charging the device as there may be eLiquid in it.

Important product use information

Never keep close to keys or coins.

Do not use around flammable liquids or gases.

Do not use if damaged.

Never leave in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

Keep Vuse products dry.

Store Vuse products in the ideal temperature.

→ It is normal for your device to get warm around the USB port when charging.

→ ePen contains a non-replaceable lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery.

→ The build-up of dirt inside your ePen pod and the top of your device may prevent you from enjoying your experience and it may disrupt normal charging. To prevent this, check and if necessary detach your pod from the ePen device, clean with a dry cloth and carefully blow into the pod to dislodge any build-up of dirt.

→ If the button is pressed for more than 8 seconds, the device will shut down. To restart the ePen, follow the ‘quick start’ instructions.

→ The device controller has a short-circuit protection function: during activation, if the device short circuits, the light on the button will flash red 3 times and the device will shut down.

→ Your ePen device is only suitable for operation between 0°C-40°C; if your device is operated outside of this temperature range it may be damaged or stop working.

Important safety information

→ Always use this product in accordance with these manufacturer’s instructions.

→ To avoid the risk of fire, injury and/or damage to your Vuse ePen or other property, only charge your Vuse ePen device with the equipment provided in your Vuse ePen kit.

→ Immediately stop use of this product and seek medical advice if you experience any of the following: development of an irregular heart-beat; allergic reaction such as rash, itching or swelling of the tongue, mouth or throat; feeling faint; nausea; headache; or any other unusual or adverse effect.

→ This product is not intended for use by persons with reduced sensory, physical, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.

→ Never leave the ePen unattended while charging.

→ Rating input of USB charging cable: 5VDC, 2A. Made for use with Vuse ePen and Vype ePen 3 models.

→ This product should only be connected to a safety extra-low voltage (SELV) circuit rated at 5VDC, 1.5A.

→ Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children.

→ Do not drag, crush, pierce, incinerate or immerse in water, the device or USB charging cable.

→ Do not insert foreign objects into the device.

→ Protection provided by the equipment may be impaired if used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer.

→ Do not use e-cigarettes when you, or anyone in the vicinity, is using oxygen.

→ If you have any questions or doubts about the use of your Vuse ePen or any other Vuse products, please contact the Vuse Customer Care Team.

This product is not suitable for use by

→ Persons under the age of 18.

→ Persons who are allergic/sensitive to nicotine and any other listed ingredients.

→ Pregnant or breast-feeding women.

→ Persons who should avoid using tobacco or nicotine products for medical reasons.

→ Persons with an unstable heart condition, severe hypertension or diabetes.

Disposal and recycling

Electrical and electronic goods and batteries should not be disposed of as part of regular household waste, but should be separately collected for recovery and recycling.
