How do you know when to clean your vape?

Clean your vape once a week or whenever you change your e-liquid. This is a perfect opportunity to check over your device and perform any small maintenance tasks.

Our vape devices go through a lot, transferring between pockets and bags, environmental conditions, and in and out of your mouth. It’s no surprise that they can attract dust, dirt and debris. This can build up over time, so we recommend quickly cleaning your device once a week to maintain good hygiene and prevent faults.

If debris gets lodged in your vape mouthpiece, it can prevent your device from working as it should. Condensation and e-liquid leaks can also build up over time, attracting extra dust and impacting the flavour of your vape.

How to clean a vape mouthpiece

Give your vape mouthpiece a wipe once weekly or whenever you change your e-liquid. Vuse devices are user-friendly and easy to clean; a quick wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel is all you need to clear away dirt and debris, refreshing your mouthpiece for more vaping.

How to clean a vape tank

If you vape with an open-system device, you’ll know about manually refilling your tank. But how do you clean the tank between e-liquids?

The quick clean

1. Unscrew the tank and remove the coil.
2. Wipe the inside of the tank with a damp paper towel.
3. Rinse the tank with warm water.
4. Reassemble the device.

The deep clean

1. Unscrew the tank and remove the coil.
2. Dampen a paper towel with rubbing alcohol.
3. Wipe the inside of the tank.
4. Rinse the tank with warm water.
5. Reassemble the device.

How to clean a vape coil

Cleaning out your vape tank? This is also a great opportunity to clean the coil, which can become sticky in contact with e-liquid over time.

1. Remove the coil from your vape device.
2. Rinse under warm water.
3. Submerge the coil under boiling water and let it soak for 30 minutes.
4. Reassemble the device.

How to maintain a vape battery

Charging is another important part of vape battery maintenance. The best time to charge a rechargeable vape is before the battery runs out – when the device is at half or a quarter-power. That means putting your vape on charge as soon as you notice the power dip.

How to store your vape device

Where do you store your vape device to keep it working at its best? Like many electricals, vapes dislike heat, humidity, moisture and extreme cold. Keep your device at room temperature, away from dust and debris. Storing your vape upright is also a good idea to help prevent e-liquid leaking – a narrow container is a perfect place to avoid your device falling over when placed upright.
